Please note: The following limits apply to the amount of foreign exchange that may be converted (or reconverted) by Travelex.

  Domestic Individual Overseas Individual
Daily Limit May convert up to USD5,000 worth of RMB into foreign currency (per day). May convert up to USD5,000 worth of foreign currency into RMB (per day).
May convert up to USD5,000 worth of foreign currency into RMB (per day). May re-convert up to USD500 worth of RMB into foreign currency (if no exchange memo can be presented) or USD1,000 worth of RMB into foreign currency (if the conversion is made at a store located outside the customs checkpoint, but within China) per day.
Annual Limit May convert foreign currency into RMB up to USD50,000 equivalent annually. May also convert RMB into foreign currency up to USD50,000 equivalent annually (for amounts exceeding these limits, transactions must be done at a foreign exchange designated bank, with supporting documentation). An overseas individual can only convert foreign currencies into RMB up to USD50,000 equivalent annually. Conversion from RMB to foreign currencies is not restricted and no annual limit applies. Basically up to USD500 equivalent daily or USD1,000 equivalent in cash specified above.
